Phil Grainey
Phil graduated from the University of Montana (Alexander Blewett III) School of Law in 1975. Throughout his career, Phil has been involved in numerous civic and charitable organizations, has served as City Attorney for both Ronan and Polson, and has been a long time member of the Board of Directors for St. Luke Hospital in Ronan. A highlight has been his mentorship of young lawyers through the State Bar Association.
Phil was sworn in on June 3, 1975 and is licensed to practice in all Montana State Courts, Federal U.S. District Court for the District of Montana, the U.S. Supreme Court, and in CSKT Tribal Court.
Phil and his wife, Marilyn, are blessed with three children, all with graduate degrees, and eight wonderful grandchildren. Phil spends his increasing spare time on the golf course, the ski slopes, and casting flies on the river.
Bill Williams
A Ronan, Montana native, Bill graduated from Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley School of Law, with honors, in 2013. While in law school Bill was an associate editor for the Journal of Clinical and Practical Law. Bill began his college career at Montana Tech, in Butte, Montana, where he played basketball for the Orediggers and graduated in 2007, with honors, with a degree in Business Information and Technology - with an emphasis on Business Management.
Bill was sworn in on September 30, 2014 and is licensed to practice in all Montana State Courts, Federal U.S. District Court for the District of Montana, and in CSKT Tribal Court.
Bill married his beautiful wife, Maria Williams, in 2014. Together they have three extraordinary children Darian, Bodie, and Ellison. In his free time, Bill enjoys spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, and golfing.
Angela Collins
Angela Collins is a 4th generation Montanan who was born and raised in Polson. After graduation she attended the University of Montana to study nursing. Angela has spent the last 20 years in customer service and office management. She enjoys volunteering in her communities and enjoys the outdoors.
In 2007 she married Mike Collins and soon after built their home at the base of the Mission Mountains. Angela and Mike enjoy recreating throughout the Mission Valley along with their two Australian Shepherds.
John French
A Polson, Montana native, John graduated from the University of Montana School of Law in 1939. John was the Lake County Attorney from 1941 through 1942, when he volunteered for military service where he served until 1953. John was a member of the Montana Board of Education and Board of the University Regents from 1963 to 1975.
John worked with his father, Lee French, and the duo had a very successful practice until Lee retired. Thereafter, John took on a number of associates, and many Firm names ensued, with the most recent being French & Grainey, with Phil Grainey.
John passed away in April of 2005 leaving behind an amazing and accomplished legacy.
